Morning sun over the grounds of Mucknell Abbey where I stayed as a guest earlier this week. Everything looked so picturesque with the frost covering the fields. The Malvern Hills can be seen on the horizon.

Went to the event "Sing Choirs of Angels" at Lichfield Cathedral this evening. I often go to the cathedral there and try to visit the illuminations each year. The buildings around the cathedral and the close are lit up in a light display show using animations with music. The Bishops Palace in the right photo was previously the family home of Frederick Oakley who translated the carol Adeste Fideles (O Come All Ye Faithful) into English.

Had some pie crust that was thawed out but when I went to unroll it it fell apart so I had to put the pieces together with a little bit of water. I think it turned out. I'm putting it in the freezer for my uncle for possibly in the new year to drop off to him.
Also before the storm. I will put up another tomorrow morning before work.

Made it home safe. Day 1 snowplowing. 13'000 steps. Didn't count how many times I climbed up and down on my truck to beat down the windshield wipers to get the ice off so I could see. That was quite a challenge trying to hang off a mirror and balance myself on the side.
