Fall tea party with my aunt in the nursing home. Spent quite a bit of time making scones from scratch. Blueberry and gluten free. I brought some to my Bible study before I had to rush home and put them in the oven for my aunt and her roommate. Her roommate had her daughter come and do her makeup and she painted her nails. My aunt wasn't feeling so good so she didn't have as much done. We listen to some 1970s music that I got from the library and she was falling asleep. I think between the tea and the music she will sleep well tonight.

Are people now allergic to blueberries

Maybe I didn't put that together right. I made two separate kinds. Regular with blueberries and the second was gluten free with almond flour and cocoa nibs. I didn't put blueberries in the gluten-free once just to distinguish them for anyone who needed gluten-free.
A guy that was at my Bible study that is from South Africa was part of the group chat when we were discussing what we were going to bring for the potluck. I said I would make scones since I was making them for my aunt in the nursing home. He said he was going to judge my pronunciation, as a joke, and sounded like he welcomed having scones. Come to find out his mother always made them. It sounds like they are much harder and different than what I made. So in the future I think I will try to make the clotted kind that one can find in England.
I've gotten Good at the cucumber sandwiches. It's just a matter of time to learn the different layers of goodies that are involved in a tea party.

Those are bluegills (or that fish is a bluegill), they are really not that big but they do give a good fight. They are usually about the size of and average size male hand.
