On another side note, that 2 hours of walking together wore him out that he had trouble walking the next day. I kept asking about 10 times if I needed to slow down and he would agree when we started off walking. He's a long hauler from covid-19 back in the fall. He did CrossFit before but he still recovering. It also made me think about past dates that did walking with me or balance on rocks off the beach, how they were wore out after. I think my future relationship is going to need to be somebody who is able to keep up with me. Or I need to slow down and practice patience. I think the latter is what needs to happen.
I can assure you the texture and taste of the spread for the macaroni doesn't taste anything like baby food. That looks like baby food.![]()
Thank you!!! Yes, I am vegan!Yummmmmm! Are you vegan? I love vegan food.
I wouldn't say it tasted quite the same as cheese or imitation cheese, but it has a close texture to macaroni and cheese and has a very good flavor of its own. I add nutritional yeast and lemon juice with a few other seasonings to bring out a similar flavor (for myself), although again I wouldn't call it the same.looks good! But does it taste cheesy?![]()
This definitely didn't have an "earthy-dirt taste", I can assure you. There's not a chance that tastes anything even close to cheese. Anything with the prefix 'vegan' is guaranteed to have that earthy-dirt taste.
Phew it's been a long day but very blessed. I've been surprised at the birthday wishes I've gotten and also a surprise text and surprise card in the mail. From people who I didn't think really cared about me, especially one that has moved away a week ago without really saying goodbye.
It seems as my birthdays go on through the years I seem to spend time with more people like I did back in my college. I'm hoping this is a trend that I can continue to organize get togethers and connecting others with new friends. that wasn't today that was last weekend that I went ice skating. I have a list also that goes all the way back to 1992 when I was 19 years old in the Army, of each of my birthdays. I tried to have something unique to remember it by.
For my 50th I think I will be making an album that dates back to when I left the house and my birthdays and friends/events over the years. it'll probably be a digital album.View attachment 311715
Glad to hear that I'm not alone. I think it's just a matter of my patience and thinking of others. At the same time I've had it with running where I had to keep telling a friend to slow down that I have trained with this past couple years. It's hard to find someone that is the same pace as you.I have the same problem as the only person that doesn't complain about me walking fast is my younger sister and I'm just walking at a relaxed pace for me. I sometimes have trouble slowing down to the speed of others when walking I am used to zipping in and out of stores in a few minutes when I'm in a hurry.
that's good to know. I will have a Daniel fast during the lent season, but I take time off of social media and here, so maybe when I come back I will post some pictures of what I made.Thank you!!! Yes, I am vegan! And I am happy to hear you like vegan food! There are some great recipes out there!!

I agree although I've never had anyone walk faster than me and my sister keeps up with me if I'm not walking at a fast pace. I sort of have like 3 speeds to walk a relaxed slow, a normal speed, and one that is almost running for me. I don't much care for jogging or running although it is better for you to me it just isn't relaxing at all and with my music on my phone and bluetooth earbuds I don't have a setup to keep the phone from flying off into the street and getting turned into a digital pancake. I can walk at a slower pace but I have to really concentrate on it and almost overrelax because my natural walk speed tends to be faster than everyone I've been around. I guess it is just one disadvantage of being taller than the average person and walking a lot in life at probably close to competition speed walking?Glad to hear that I'm not alone. I once had the privilege of staying overnight in the town reputed to be the birthplace of Mr Crayper!National Thomas crapper day today, we had a work meeting honoring him. I made these and blue Kool-Aid for toilet bowl cleaner.View attachment 311757
Lavatory humour has always made me smile! Maybe it's because it was one of those subjects I was taught from an early age to avoid discussing because it was deemed to be too embarrassing and unacceptable! My posh friend up north has a bookshelf full of toilet jokes and she loves to put them out on the table while we're having a coffee and we usually end up giggling inanely!Wow!!! That's so interesting. If I ever go there, since we have a national Day celebrating him, I will have to be sure to visit it.
We had somebody read a bunch of poop inspired jokes, it was kind of funny because he's older and was very monotone about it. I think there was a game but I had to log off the video for another meeting. I was one of the few people that didn't go to the meeting in person as a precaution with covid-19. But I did get food from the event and make some.
I had a trivia question that I came up with that had to do with the Royal courts poop inspectors. I think it's something like poop groomer or something. Very interesting.
This is great!!! hahaNational Thomas crapper day today, we had a work meeting honoring him. I made these and blue Kool-Aid for toilet bowl cleaner.View attachment 311757
