A week ago I met up with someone I had connected with online a year ago that's Christian and 18 years younger, needing some online dating advice and getting over his last short-lived relationship. He's been online dating for 4 years, it's been helping him to have better social skills according to his family. So I won't discourage it. I told him to build off of the good experiences he's had on dates and not the bad ones.
On another side note, that 2 hours of walking together wore him out that he had trouble walking the next day. I kept asking about 10 times if I needed to slow down and he would agree when we started off walking. He's a long hauler from covid-19 back in the fall. He did CrossFit before but he still recovering. It also made me think about past dates that did walking with me or balance on rocks off the beach, how they were wore out after. I think my future relationship is going to need to be somebody who is able to keep up with me. Or I need to slow down and practice patience. I think the latter is what needs to happen.

Ice skating park that I went to yesterday. Unfortunately I'm nursing a strained knee from a fall. But I didn't do too bad for not having skated except for one time as a child. I just have to get out of my head the desire to go fast.

A bite to eat and nice sweets after ice skating. I canceled the restaurant we were going to because of covid-19. The numbers kept reducing also of the friends that were going. But this Italian bakery was quite spacious and good distancing from people. We probably spent 2 hours in conversation. And I love it when new connections are made.
