Reading this bad boy for some self-development.

I'm all about morning/evening routines, and this is part of my morning routine.

It's about a woman who faced 100 fears and conquered them and she wrote a book about how to crush some fears in your life.

It's a fantastic read, highly recommend it!

Big accomplishment. The car is finally washed and waxed. It was such a hot and humid day that hardly anybody was out doing any yard work. The thunderstorm has finally made its way.View attachment 302968
See?! Told you it was eventually gonna get washed and waxed!

10 mile run this morning. It was pretty rough with the humidity plus my knees were feeling it. I'm going to prioritize hydration and rest this week. I ended up sleeping 12 hours last night. And it was rough because there was problems with the heating and cooling system waking me up. I am 5 miles ahead of schedule and better than last year. But I've had a lot rougher runs this year than I did last year.

I started my training schedule back in march. I did have a setback in May with recovering from covid-19. But gradually have been getting up to where I was last year in my training. I can't lie, it was really tough. It's really been tough getting back to where I was at 1 year ago. May I was only able to do 50% of my training capacity. I didn't want to push it since I needed to make sure my health was back up to par.
Also it's a praise since from 2011 to 2019 I was only able to do walking. It's been a long road and I'm thankful that I'm back into running :) thanks for the encouragement.

I think it's admirable that you set a goal for yourself and that you've remained dedicated to achieving it sampa. Especially after dealing with COVID.

It's smart as well not to overdo it, but to tackle it gradually.

Thank you. I'm fortunate it was not as bad as it could have been. One of my friends thinks it's because of the training that I did last year. But really I just think it's a blessing from the Lord that wasn't as bad as it could have been, as I have heard of teen athletes that struggled with the after effects of covid-19. I'm still trying to be wise about my training this year. We had a dry summer last year which really helped me. Since I'm allergic to penicillin, all forms of mold seem to affect me. This year we've had tons of rain, which I'm sure brings the mold spore count up. Probably why I've struggled a little bit more this year with sinuses and fatigue. No matter the case, as long as I'm getting the rest, I think there's a good benefit. Also for my future with building healthier bones. Thanks for your encouragement, I appreciate it.
