CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Some years ago, a friend of mine and myself packed our bags and went to Manchester Airport for the hour-long flight to Copenhagen, Denmark's Capital City! We stayed in a self service apartment right in the heart of the city centre, close to all of the main attractions. The owners of the apartment greeted us and kept in touch throughout our stay to ensure we were well looked after and that our visit was as comfortable as possible. Their friendliness, kindness, and helpfulness was simply amazing. We took advantage of the Copenhagen City Pass which, for a very modest price, gave us free access to many museums and and attractions across the city and its surrounding areas, including buses, trains and the driverless Metro! Our poor knowledge of the Danish language was not a problem, as everyone we met spoke impeccable English, and just as well as we did! Eating out was very expensive, so most of the time we did self-catering, buying our food from local supermarkets, which we found to be quite reasonable.
