well Jesus WAS speaking in parable

but parables are good because they show a greater reality
people LOVE to go to the Prodigal Son
but they forget all the parables where the wedding guests are thrown out for not being properly dressed
or the unwise virgins are left behind because they did not prepare with oil for their lamps
or the wicked tenants are slaughtered because they kill the landlords son

or this parable, where people spoke out against their rightful King and He has them slaughtered
think how many people speak out against their Lord and King?
