I agree with Bliz. Let us keep in mind, satan is not omnipotent, omniscent nor is he omnipresent. Only God fits these qualifications and satan is not the polar opposite of God. If so, he would be God's equal and his is not. He is a fallen angel. People need to start taking some responsibility for their actions and not pin the blame on 'someone else' everytime things don't go our way.

I also agree with ProfMom. I was exactly four months postpartum with PPD set in. It doesn't take much to kick in PPD and seems like your wife has more than enough reason for it.

Love her, help her and seek help for the both of you and, yes, a part of helping her may very well be to cut the internet connection if for no other reason to show her you mean business in fighting your addiction.

I thought one of the signals would be if she could not call Jesus Lord, I thought that was something only Christ followers and those that are not completely opposed to following the Lord.

Well, here is the thing none of us have med insur. So that makes it even more hard.

However, I spoke with my pastor last night. he offerd me a class sorta like AA but lead by the church.

As for my wife, my pastor has set up for a counsolor group to call us by phone to set up an appointment. these people are suppose to be very good.

So I pray that my wife can hold out till then. and I continue to pray for her and not fuel her rage for now..

I completely agree with all of these posters. Please get your wife some medical attention immediately! Regardless of what you've done and how guilty you may feel right now, you wife is need of serious help and all of you (you, her and the child) may be in real danger. Please take your wife in a mental health center first thing in the morning! Don't delay another day.

I second that advice. Post partum depression, or severe psychotic reaction, such as hallucinations, behavior such as rage and anger, can result in tragedy. Lack of medical insurance should not be a consideration in this. If you or your wife got into a car accident and were injured, would you refuse medical treatment because you don't have medical insurance? Your poor wife needs help, and you also have a young baby. Take action now.

I agree with all the advice here. Seek medical help for her and marital counseling for both of you. Your wife has been through a lot emotionally and it will take lots of time for her to heal. Instead of threatening to walk out on her whenever you argue, you also need to learn how to communicate constructively in the marriage. So both of you have a lot to work through and learn how to love one another. Glad to hear you are now trying to do everything you can to help the situation. Ask your pastor for help too. Praying things will get better for you and your family.

Romans 8:38-39

This verse was a comfort to me when dealing with such things and still helps me.

Don't know what's going on lately. When he does come back my advice is, if you can't afford a dr. and can't find a sliding scale fee clinic or make too much for state help, ask you church if they will help you guys pay for a checkup. Church's are here to help lead us to God and help with other things as well. Sounds like PPD to me! God bless you guys. You're in my prayers.
