Homeland Security and Capitol Police arrested a masked man near a security checkpoint after finding an AK-47 pistol in his bag.

Also found in the backpack were a magazine fully loaded with rifle ammunition, a "Scream" movie mask, a flashlight, two sets of black gloves, a pair of sunglasses, an Allied Universal Security uniform shirt, two cans of spray paint and multiple empty designer marijuana bags, authorities said. Two cellphones were also found in Tinsley's pant pockets, they said."​

I'll say it....guy keeping two masks, gloves, illegal weapon, hanging around outside RNC checkpoint....

Seems like authorities were right to be suspicious and likely prevented another attack.

My thoughts are this: We will sadly have more bad actors in this world, cos as soon as the attack on July 13 made it on the news, other people may get ideas into their heads to perform their own attacks.

Prayers that no more gun violence happens, that gun buyers are properly vetted for safety purposes, and that the police arrest violent individuals before a serious crime occurs.


And yes, I bet this guy have never gone skiing either. I have gone skiing in 2013-14, and it was fun, and I did not wear a ski mask, or very rarely did during the skiing, cos it was 20+ degrees Fahrenheit (-7 degrees C) outside at the time. Ski masks feel weird on my face.

For reference, a three-minute walk at 3 mph would cover a distance of 0.15 miles (240 meters), so that is mere blocks. Dangerous stuff, if you ask me.

Yeah, it would. Social media is a double edged sword, but it has done so much harm in our society over the past decade. It is not even funny anymore.

I am very far behind in firearms, cos I do not hunt, or target practice, or even want to own any firearms, cos I do not like owning any weapons.

But yes, that would be a semi-auto rifle, not a pistol, as pistols are smaller.
