Maybe you should find another Dr. I'm surprised that he would tell you to take the shot even though he couldn't see an ectopic pregnancy on the regular U/S.

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would definitely get a second opinion before potentially aborting a baby....
Is there another doctor in your area with whom you might be able to get an appointment. If you are not having any of the warnig signs of an ectopic pregnancy-there is no hurry to rush to a resolution....
Also, why does he want you to abort?

He was telling me that due to not seeing a sac as he said so therefore he was diagnosing ectopic and also based on my HCG level. But I will not do that until I know where the baby is period.

Hmmm well I think if its ectopic you would be in pain. But I don't know. I would get a second opinion.

Right. I have read online the signs & asked the doc as well & his response was it varies by women. So now I have jsut been sitting her & every little pinch or something happening I am freaking out kinda.

I pray everything is ok, I thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy awhile back.. it was very painful. But the level of pain would depend on how far along you are. I ended up not being pregnant at all, but all of the doctors said the symptoms and signs were the same as one... which was true.. but it was just some kind of muscle pull in that area.
If they don't see anything on Friday (I'm praying they do) I would just request a 2nd opinion before you will go through with anything. That have to respect that.

It has been a rough day to be honest. I have had side pains like near my kidneys & a bad migraine. I finally broke down & took a Tylemol because when I get these headaches they will not go away. I did have some bleeding today a little.

How are you feeling? I've been a little concerned because of your pain. Remember, if you feel you are having abnormal, intense pain, be seen. I'm hoping the pain is just normal pregnancy pains or even psychological but you'll know if they get to be too much.
