If this is the case, it only illustrates how little FearlessHeart knows of the show. Friendship is Magic is definitely not the same sort of 'girly' show My Little Pony was in the '80s and '90; the show's creator has publicly stated she wanted to destroy that stereotype with Friendship is Magic

The dialogue is smart and clever, the characters are highly endearing, and the stories are (generally) quite engaging. Aside from mentioning magic periodically, the show is completely free of objectionable content, and has not a bit of crude humour or innuendo so common in other television programs.

No, I'm not in the least ashamed or embarrassed to enjoy the show.

I'm probably going to be flamed to heck for this but I don't care, but why would an adult watch a cartoon aimed at little girls? Seriously, what's the appeal? It's not normal, it IS creepy and if you're one of these people, I think you've got some issues.

I really can't wait until this show's popularity dies off.

It's pretty clear why grown men watch and enjoy the show. They should all board a rocket on a one way trip into the sun.

Personally I dont understand it's appeal. "Aimed at little girls or not" I do believe in freedoms, as an American it is what we SHOULD stand for (Sadly freedom is only a thinly veiled illusion in America, but... hey.)

My sister used to watch the show so there is NO WAY I would watch the show, have any desire to see even a snippet of the show.... much like twilight I would rather get paper cuts and go swimming in an rubbing alcohol salt solution that watch it.

But to each their own. I happen to still love watching Garfield cartoons and those are aimed at kids as well.

Why people get so roid rage over it is baffling to me. The biggest annoyance IF any are the battles between pony lovers and the haters. WHO CARES!

I dont need to know you LOOOOOVE MLP, I dont need to know you HATE MLP lovers.

I WISH my life were so devoid of problems that who watches what phased me in the slightest, but, I have bigger things to deal with than "OH MY GOSH, YOU WATCH PONIES YOU SICK FREAK!" or "OH MY GOSH, HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE PONIES?!"
