Two years ago today, the bravest man in the country died. A man not very many here knew, personally, but one who touched us and brought us together in a way few others could have. RIP Msgt Love. And RIP Jen. I'm glad to have had a chance to share a few letters with you, and I respect you and honor you for your sacrifice, also. God be merciful to you both.

Two years ago tonight, Msgt. Love died after struggling for his life from April 10th to August 11th. That man wanted to live so badly, and his dear wife Jen practically willed him to recover. For months after he was shot, we prayed for him and Jen and their kids faithfully...but before he was shot, we goofed around with him here on the site and made him smile when he was thousands of miles away from the people he loved.

I don't think Tim would want us to remember him and mourn, or be unable to go on with our lives, and I don't want to drink a beer in his memory just to dull the pain (although throwing back the occasional Lonestar in his honor isn't a bad idea). But nope, tonight I remember the Tim that touched us all with one of his favorite pictures:

Somebody said that Kolton ran away so I hope that he is safe and is found soon.

- Kolton has been missing from the boys ranch since about 7pm this evening and they are suspecting he ran away. This is NOT GOOD! =(
