CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here's an update:
"... there's not a whole lot to report this week. kole hasn't been doing too well at his new place. he's already gotten into some trouble and has been violent toward staff and the other boys. he had a lot of visitors this weekend though so thanks yall. (Kole's Aunt) is still working hard trying to bust him outta there but there are so many hoops and texas DFPS is not known for being logical or having much of a heart. in the meantime they've gotten kole somewhat under control by giving him a job mowing the acres of grass around the place. go figure. he's been refusing to eat though and that could quickly become a problem.
the girls aren't doing that great either. they both seem to be a little depressed and have started asking for their mama a lot. emma has been carrying around this picture of jen and won't let it go, and she cries all night long. neither of the girls seems very interested in their gymnastics or swimming anymore, or even in playing at all. their aunt megan took them to an appointment with a children's grief counselor this morning, but i haven't been able to get ahold of her to see how it went. i'm really hoping that this is a phase that will just boil over. i want them to remember their mama, but i don't want them to hurt. know what i'm sayin?

I've just learned of this family's plight. I'm without words, beyond saddened...
My prayer is that faith continue to rise in the hearts of believers to provide a
standard against the destruction the enemy would take advantage of and seal

Praying for these precious children. From the testimonies of those who had the honor of knowing them, it sounds as though their parents were absolutely beautiful people. God bless this whole family as this struggle with this loss.
