CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lord, I pray for Kolton and the girls. They have suffered in ways most of us can't understand. Keep them safe in the palm of your hand and help them to find love in the midst of their pain, that they do not have to be so alone. Help them to trust, both in You and in others who want what's best for them, even (and especially) since they can't see it for themselves right now. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

thinking of Kolton, Jaylie and Emma and remembering Tim and Jen...am grateful for having known them, even if for such a short time. they were special.

It's hard to believe it's been 2 years already. It seems like just yesterday I was checking in here as often as possible hoping to hear some good news that Tim had made some progress. For some reason I really thought he was going to pull through and make it. Never imagined I'd be sitting here today praying for he and Jen's orphaned kids
