Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, Father of Kolton, Emma, and Jaylie. We know You are omniscient and know what these three children need. We know You are actively involved in their lives and with them. We know that You will work in them to Your glory, and we praise Your name for Your mercy. At a time when it seems like we pray and pray, asking You to especially be with Kolton, this time I would thank You for what You have already done in his life. Thank you, Lord our God, that we have all had the benefit of knowing this strong young man. Thank You, Father, for never leaving him. Thank You for his loving family--grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins--who love him and want the best for him. Thank You that people ARE TRYING to find out exactly what help he needs to deal with his anger and grief...even if they are doing the greatest job at it. Thank You that he does have a roof over his head, food to eat, and a warm bed at night. Thank You for the internal fight that You instilled in him so that he has the courage in him to try to deal with this pain. Thank You for how smart he is and how wonderfully You created him with all that he needs to survive this. Thank You for every single person here on this thread who has prayed for him and the girls...and his parents. Thank You for the privilege of knowing Kolton and how he has blessed our lives without ever meeting him. Thank You for helping him endure, even though sometimes it feels as though You're far away. Thank You for loving him enough to offer Your own Son in his place. Thank You for all You have done and all You will do in Kolton's life.
