Long story short (ish) I was forced to quit my job a couple of weeks ago due to the pandemic and being immunocompromised with severe asthma. This job was all I had for my family, living paycheck to paycheck after divorcing my husband and getting away from his abuse with my daughter. Due to being immunocompromised, I have been unable to search for a job and I don't currently qualify for unemployment in my state. I'm still TRYING to find only work, but that's slow going, especially with a young child.
I applied for medical insurance and Food Stamps, but neither have been approved yet. Thankfully we're both ok right now health wise, but we're not doing so well food/necessity wise. Melted the last few popsicles for the little lady this morning. And to top it all off, my water was shut off this morning because I haven't been able to make the payment in over a month while searching for work.
I know it's small troubles compared to what's going on in the world, but I'd still appreciate all the prayers I could get for me and my little girl. We're exhausted from all this. Tired, hungry, and just down on our luck. I don't know what we're going to do. More than anything, if you're able to send up a prayer for us, please do!
