No - but he gave her a copy of Dave Hunt's book "A Woman Rides the Beast" and link to a website promoting Alexander Hislop's "The Two Babylons" - that should surely count for something!

Ah... I´ve never red the books, but I get the idea... I know some people with those thoughts... Especially one... He is very dissapointed now, when we´re all converted Catholics in the family...NewMan99 said:

It seems like it is all happening, this afternoon another person had a discussion with me, and told me that if I was a Christian she could not understand how I could compromise myself by accepting Catholic doctrines... nothing I said even went near her, just right over her head.... I am wrong in her mind.. full stop.
So this friend of mine that I have loved and looked after for so long now [she is sick and housebound] says if I need to talk to her, I cannot mention anything to do with my Christian life or my Church, that is out of bounds.

How sad! When my oldest daughter converted, 8 years, her godfather, a priest in the Swedish church, totally broke contact with us... We had written and explained for him, telling we respected him as much as before, but no... We were, suddenly, persona non grata. So, yes, I recognise this...

In God everything is a learning experience and its new blessings each day. We just need to hang on tight to HIM because some rides are a bit wild and some are very peaceful....

People of this mindset most times do not even what to know if they are correct or not.
Pray for them & do not put yourself through it.
