Please pray for me that I do not have to go back to jail (again)...

My stepson spent a year in prison on "accumulated" charges. i.e. they combined a bunch of stuff to make it serious enough to get something that could send him to prison. Small town. The judge had it out for him.

That was 20 years ago. He recovered amazingly and is living a VERY happy life with a wife that, frankly, none of us deserve. And he has climbed the responsibility ladder in his occupation to where he is living quite comfortably.

i.e. this too will pass. Paul made it. My step son made it. It is a growth opportunity in the Lord, no matter what happens.

That's the first thing I would think about doing if they sent me to prison: I'd just start a prison ministry. Can't believe I didn't bring it up when I was trying to encourage you.

Anyway, God bless, and sounds like you did good!

It seemed to dictate and change the whole environment in there... It was cool, I thought...

Anyway, thanks,

When You were set free, did That prayerchain continue? Is there someone from inside continuing it or did You arrange for some Christians to come and pray with You like once a week or so? I am simply asking because if they really miss You and it get chaotic in there who knows if Your future jobchances might be in the jail, since it might have had a positive influence. Why not write a note saying You can visit for prayer and simultaneously learning more so You can teach others. When You can teach then You can ask for payment I believe, but I assume all steps are small and there are no big money, You get basically paid for Your time but become no millioneer. If You get good at it and write a book and an e-book then You might get richer. The jailguards want safety in the prison too I guess.

Thats great to hear, God can use dreadful experiences like going to prison for something that is good and beneficial both for you and the Kingdom and i am glad for you, brother. I also second Roseonathorn's suggestion for your prison ministry. Most likely you don't fancy going back to that place even as a free man but it could help growing and healing spiritually to both you and those guys still stuck there.

Yeah, sorry haven't got back to this yet, but, I love and appreciate you all... Thank You...

I have been thinking about some things like much like @Roseonathorn , is saying... I don't know how I did it, a couple guys pulled me aside and told me I had "balls" doing that... More than a few people for prayer requests at night... Them asking questions and me doing my best to answer... One guy wanted scriptures for wife on the outside, that he was artfully doing on paper to her... Everyone seemed to like it and like me too...

I didn't try to push myself on anybody, I let them come to me...

Oh, this one guy, took his mat and moved it over and put it on the floor by me, saying he felt safer over here by me...?

I was kinda like "OK...?"

Oh the prayer requests and what we did when we prayed after the initial one page written prayer (Yes, I had to write it down and read it, the only way I could really do it?) Anyway, the prayer requests were about what I like to call "real world issues" or some real world stuff, people sick, people (loved ones) in the hospital, drug problems, serious relationship problems, one guys dad died, while he was in there, and could not even get out to the funeral, when they told him, he cried all night long almost, we did pray for him, and his family, but I just basically told him "that I wished I had some magic words for him that would make things better, but, sometimes these kinds of things are at a loss for words, but that we would pray for them and him...

They were kinda like or were becoming a little, my little, congregation in a way, some started reading their bibles, a couple of them, studied it and I got to help here and there...

I don't know how I did it though?, all credit goes to God...

God Bless You Guys!

Here they are...

#1- "Lord, we love you, guide and direct our steps and paths in the way of peace that surpasses all understanding that the world has not come to know cause it must get it from you and it refuses to... So, it cannot know it, but, or rather yet, we can, so, show us this please oh Lord... Help us to be, and walk, in righteousness for righteousness sake, which means taking a stand and speaking out against, and trying to correct or right all wrongs and injustices for justice sake... Help us to be wise and pick and choose our battles, and know when and what to fight, or when and what not to fight, for this is wise and good... And, may it be for us like it was for King David that, "Surely, God's goodness and mercy and grace and Gods' truth will follow us all the days of our lives." Thank You for everything Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, and all power, majesty and might be to you and yours forever, to the glory of the Father, Oh, Lord, in your holy name, Amen...

#2- "Dear Lord, we love you Lord and thank you for all you have done and accomplished for us and for our sakes... You satisfied the Father's needs and the enemy's demands for a perfect blood attonement sacrifice to satisfy justice for us, that, only by us only believing in you, and putting faith in you, and by calling on you and your name in prayer, we will not experience the judgement that is always against us, and never works in our favor, and condemns those not believing in you and not having you as thier savior from that judgement... We are spared and saved and one-hundred percent forgiven becuase of you and what you have done Lord, and we are so very, very eternally grateful and thank you and love you so very, very much... And this, being passed over or free from being judged, is just only one thing that you have done for us... For there is so very much more, I hardly know where to begin, or end... Thank You Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might, be to you oh Lord and yours forever to the glory of the Father, Lord our God, Amen...

#3- "Dear Lord, We thank you for first, second, third, fourth, up to an infinite number of chances and opportunties to turn ourselves and our lives around by turning to you at any time... This is also part of what you have done and accomplished for us, oh Lord... For by your grace and only through faith, do we have innumerable opportunities to change things with your help and by turning to you for help at any time... We know it grieves greatly Lord when we do not make full use of this great opportunity, to have a good and full life because of you and all you have done, cause you love us all so very, very much, oh Lord... Some of us turn our backs on you and walk away and back to our misery for various reasons and we know it's not right, but, for various reasons, we do sometimes... Forgive us of this, oh Lord... May we all find our way to you in time oh Lord... Thank You Lord... Al glory, honor, and praise, and power, majesty, and might be yours forever, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord our God, Amen.

#4- "Dear Lord, we love you and thank you for evrything and all you have done, which is a lot... We'd like to pray for our bonds and relationships with others, those we love and care about... Interpersonal relationships and interactions can be difficult sometimes, so, we pray over and about them and ask for help with them, for we all want to interact better with others... If any bridges got burnt or things have been kinda rocky with others, then we pray for and that we can, or for help from you in fixing it/them... Our relationships with others, with people, is one of the only things we can take with us in and from this world, into the next, and that makes them very important and very valuable... Help us with them please, oh Lord... We pray also for the welfare and blessings of all, but, most especially, those we love... Al glory, honor, and praise, power majesty, and might be yours forever, to the glory of the Father, oh dear Lord our God, in your holy name, Amen.

#5- "Dear Lord, we pray to you and give thanks to you for everything, everything Lord... We pray for peace, we pray for blessings, we pray for security and prosperity... We pray for truth and to walk in your truth... Tecah us all your ways, oh Lord, and help us walk in them, be our tutor, mentor and teacher... Guide and direct us in all things... Help us and the ones we love... May our relationships and bonds with the ones we love be and stay peaceful and strong... We must remember, it is not about and outward religion or an outward show or put-on or practice, like the hypocrites, but, a deep, inner, inward knowing and very deep and intimate personal relationship with you... Help us to have that with you Lord, each and every one of us, teach us and show us how, oh Lord... All glory, honor and praise, majesty, power, and might be yours, to the glory of the Father, forever, Lord our God, Amen.

#6- "Dear Lord, we thank you for everything, most especially, your great love for us... Teach us to walk in your ways, oh Lord... Lead, guide and direct us in your truth for righteousness and justice sake... Help us and show us how to be humble, meek, mild, lowly and kind without being weak, but strong in you, oh Lord... May we become generous and empathetic toward others and never lose heart... Teach us how to endure in love... Help us to be patient and quick to hear/listen and slow to speak or wrath or anger... Teach us how to discipline ourselves and have self-control... Help us to have control or mastery over our minds, hearts, wills, and emotions and actions, thinking things through beforehand always... Lastly, bless us and prosper us Lord, in all good things... Bless the ones we love... Help us all to stay out of jails and prisons and not get trapped in the system from here on out please, oh Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, power, majesty, and might be yours forever, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord our God, Amen.

#7- "Dear Lord, we love you Lord, and we pray to you and thank you for everything from the bottom of our hearts... We pray for peace and prosperity and your blessings... We pray for joy in any and every situation and circumstance, for the scriptures say that peace is our weapon and that joy is our strength... If we can always be full of joy, then nothing, nothing at all will be able to crush us or break us, that is, break our spirits, or be able to defeat us at all, if we always have, be, and maintain joy in us and in our hearts... Help us with this please, oh Lord... Help us to be happy and satisfied and content in any and all situations and circumstances... We pray for our loved ones... We pray for our world, for peace... Lastly, we pray for ourselves that we stay out of jails and prisons and do not become indoctrinated in or victims of the system and become just another statistic... Thank you Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might be yours forever, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord, Amen.

#8- "Dear Lord, we love you and thank you for everything... Thank you for loving us... Help us to love with the kind of Godly love that bears and endures all things, like the scriptures say... By enduring, we mean suffering wrong and not returning wrong, for or with more wrong, but combatting wrong or evil with only good... Help us to respond to wrongs, injusry's, evil, or hurts and injustices against us with love... Or at least help us not to retaliate in a wrong way to these evils, wrongs, and hurts by others, against us, but to think things through first before responding or reacting to wrongs against us... When someone triggers our fight or flight response, and when tempted to respond in a bad, negative, evil, wicked, or wrong way, help us to stop it and find a third alternative or option to the other two of the fight or flight response... Help us to find a peaceful alternative, and that this kind of endurance might lead to Godly, God-like conduct and behavior... Help us with this please, oh Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might be to you and yours forever to the glory of the Father, oh Lord our God, Amen.

#9- "Dear Lord, we pray to you to say we love you and are extremely grateful for all you have done and for loving us... Help us to not fall into the pitfall and trap of pride, egotism, and arrogance that was our enemy's (Satan, the Devil) (Back then, Lucifer's) undoing and downfall and is one real way we can tell the Devil's children and followers, from God's children and followers... Help us to not fall into this trap, oh Lord... Keep us from the enemy or from following him or walking in his ways, oh Lord... Save us from our sins, oh Lord... Save us from ourselves, oh Lord... Help us to walk in your love and grace and mercy and truth, oh Lord... Forgive us for our sins, oh Lord... And, deliver us from all forms of all evil and wickedness, oh Lord... We pray for your help with this please Lord... We pray for all of us in here for good, healthy, and happy relationships with all, but, most especially our family and friends who are like family and our children and our loved ones, oh Lord... Thank you Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might be yours forever and ever, to the glory and honor of the Father, oh Lord, Amen.

#10- "Dear Lord, we pray to you to say we love you and thank you for everything, most especially, for loving us so very much, thank you Lord... Dear Lord, help us not judge unjustly, or be so judgmental all the time, especially when we should not judge because we do not have all the knowledge of all the details and factors that is required to judge justly and rightly and correctly in matters... We, all to often, do not have all the knowledge of all the matters that is required to judge rightly, correctly, and justly, unlike you oh God, the perfect judge... For you do have all knowledge in all matters, so help us to yield judging to you, oh Lord... Also, instead of coming down on one another and criticizing, judging and condemning and tearing down and ripping apart one another (and our own selves in the process, according to scripture)... Instead of that, help us build up, lift up, edify and encourage ans support one another in love, in a spirit of meekness, mildness, gentleness, humbleness and humility belonging to your nature and your kindness and wisdom with one another... Lastly, we pray for everyone, everywhere oh Lord, for all good things always... Thank you, oh Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might, continually be yours, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord our God, Amen.

#11- "Dear Lord, we love you and thank you for everything, for loving us... Dear Lord, I have a special request, let all those hearing this please be shown to them and proven to them, "You", oh Lord, as you did with me many years ago now... Your existence, your very real presence here with us, working in us and through us to others and through other things and other to us... Then, also, help us to hear and know your voice speaking to and with us from all the other voices we hear day to day... Help us to be tuned into and know yours and your voice in the mess of all other influences, all the "other voices" on, in, and with us... Teach us, train us, guide and direct us, show us all "you" please, oh Lord God... We pray for blessings and healing and health, wealth and prosperity, and, peace and security, and truth and justice for all, oh Lord... Thank you Lord... All wisdom, knowledge, glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might be yours continually and always and forever, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord, our God, Amen.

#12- (December 25th, Christmas) "Dear Lord, we love you and thank you for everything, for loving us... This day is a day set aside to celebrate and remember your miraculous birth... A very special birth to commemorate a babe born to us with a divine, foretold long ahead of time, divine destiny to be the savior of the world, the savior of all, who has succeded in saving us from ourselves, to all who believe this and put faith in him and this, Christ, our Lord... In that we say, past tense, "has already saved us" or "is, or has already been completed, we mean, has already been sealed or destined... But, yet, the mystery of this is still constantly being revealed and uncovered in pieces as the end of this age approaches... He has already done it, yet many of us are still in the process of it, and of uncovering it... This mystery of him and him being born to us and doing what he did and all that he did, is very great indeed, but, not beyond our comprehension... Please, teach us how to comprehend it Lord... And reveal it to us Lord... We pray for our loved ones and us, for peace, joy, and happiness always... Please comfort us and the world in all our trials and distresses, oh Lord... We pray for our communities and our world, Lord... Also, we pray to and end to all war forever Lord... In the Bible, in the scriptures, in your words to us oh Lord, is the answers and is the key(s) to all of these Lord, it is already done... Help us find it/them oh Lord... Thank you Lord... All wisdom, knowledge, power, might, authority and dominion be yours, and through you, even "ours" forever, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord our God, Amen.

#13- "Dear Lord and thank you for evrything, for loving us... We pray for blessings, we pray for peace, we pray for health, wealth, and prosperity, also, for peace and security for evevryone... Help us to be meek, mild, humble, generous, and kind... Give us a heart that cares about others over ourselves, to not be selfish, self-centered, egostisical, haughty and arrogant, like our enemy... Help us to have Godly knowledge and wisdom in all things... Help us to know you better and very well, like one of our closest friends or companions... Help us to be very aware and conscious of your presence always and continually at all times in every situation and circumstance... Help us to know how to commune, or communicate with you as we would with anyone else... Help us not be worried or be anxious or fret about things all the time... Be with us Lord always... Thank you Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might be yours forever and ever, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord, our God, Amen.

#14- (New Years Eve) "New Years is one of my favorite holidays, not for the parties or socializing, or social events, but, because, for many, it makes them think about new beginnings and "turning over a new leaf" so to speak, from some of the old ways and issues they do not want to be a part of their life anymore... For some, this can be or mean little things, and for others, bigger ones or things... I like it because it is very much like a very big, very important thing, that is supposed to be an important step as it pertains to being a Christain... And that is: dying to ourselves and self-will or to what scripture calls the "old man" or old personality and also, being "born again" as a completely new man or person, who is others-centered instead of self-centered and self-absorbed and self-consumed and is, instead, entirely consumed with God's will for their life and not their own... We are to become a new person or new creation in Christ and die to, or "repent" of the old, and get or commit to, a new start by being "born again"... Repenting is simply a change of mind or heart...

That being said, now, we will pray to the Lord for help with this... Dear Lord, we love you and ask for your help in doing this and making this change that is essential to the Christain faith and walk... Help us to give up our own will, our pride, our ego, our selfishness and self-centeredness for your will and your ways... To be "others centered" first, instead of and before our won selves, and, let this New Years Holiday cuase us to think about and remind us of this... Help us to die to self-will or "our" ways, our thoughts, our actions and decisions, in exchange for yours, Oh Lord... As we celebrate this New Year let us all keep in mind and seriously consider these things, oh Lord... Thank you Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might be yours forever, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord our God, Amen.

#15- "Dear Lord, we love you and thank you for everything, for loving us... Help us to walk in your ways and to pratice what we preach or say... Guide and direct us in your truth and help us to walk in that truth... Without you or apart from you we are nothing, but, in you, we are everything... Help us to explore and uncover the deep mystery of this, oh Lord... We pray for blessings, healing, health, wealth, prosperity, and peace and security for all... Lord, we even thank you for the bad things that work out for our good... Teach us how to have mastery and self-control over ourselves and in all our dealings... Help us to be stable in all our ways without losing heart, or having to sacrifice our hearts in the process... Help us with the process of this walk with you Lord, the Christain walk... We pray for our loved ones, we pray for our world... Thank you Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might be yours forever, to the glory of the Father, oh Lord, Amen.

#16- (Last night there, January 11th) "Dear Lord, I am happy to be getting out, but am also a bit sad about this being my last night with doing this and delivering your words to these guys in here, for it has been a good experience for me, and they seemed to have enjoyed it as well... As for my one last prayer for these guys here...? I pray they all do well always and at all times and everywhere... I pray that you will be with them always and continually and will watch over them and cause them to be always consciously aware of you with them... I pray that they get to conversate with you and you with them... I pray that, in here, and also out there, that they be, dwell, and rest in unity, for there is great power and strength in unity and being of one mind and one accord... I pray for them having and keeping this unity by practicing and maintaining a cool, calm, warm, comfortable, and peaceful environment both in here, and out there, in their circles or houses out there...

Doing this by having mutual and two-way, reciprocal respect and honor where honor is due for one another and each other... Also, let each one praise an build up one another and each other wherever and whenever there is anything worthy of praise or where such praise and honor is due, building up one another and not tearing each other down... I pray for them, their lives, their loved ones and their family and friends for all good things always and continually, oh Lord... Watch over them for me please, oh Lord... Thank you Lord... And I want them all to know that I thank them for this, oh Lord... All glory, honor, and praise, majesty, power, and might be yours always and continually forever, to the glory of the Father, Oh Lord... Amen...

I would deliver these prayers one a night, first, to start, then ask for prayers for people and doing prayer requests and we would pray... Then, when that was done, we would end with a reading from the daily bread pamphlet, that has a short story for each day, then I would be done, go back to my bunk, and we would all go to bed...

I repeated some of these prayers several times, cause there would constantly be a new influx of new people. Every two weeks or so, I would repeat them over again, cuase there were only like, two people out of a twenty man dorm, who were there for a longer period of time like I was...

They seemed to really like it...

God Bless!

The justice system in this country is so unforgiving and does not care about any progress you have made,

Actually, I have to disagree with you. I have found that the courts many times are very lenient towards the ones that are now doing the right thing.

Once when I went back to court I had many court slips signed from meetings I had been to and I had letters from work regarding the new Mountain Man and the judge was more than kind.

Thing is you need to prove your case. Get some reference letters take somebody with you to court to speak for you, talk to your lawyer ((do your part.))

Good luck.
I know it ain't no fun and very stressful going to court.
I will never forget the fear.

Uh...? Hey Bob, that was an emotional response from and emotional place, BEFORE I WENT IN, the post you quoted was in August of last year, when I had just found out...

Needless to say I was upset at the time, and maybe not thinking so clearly...

Anyhow, It's done now, I spent 60 (well 52) days in jail, got out on January 12th of this year... God knew/knows what he is doing, I am doing well, and am back now... And, I didn't lose my place, or my animals, or my things, or wind up homeless again or anything...

God Bless!

M-Bob
Thank you though...

God Bless!

God Bless!

Hi and please forgive me for not doing my homework there and knowing that it was now behind you.

As you know what is important for us now is to make good moral decisions each and every day so we don't get back into any kind of trouble. It's been 10 years since I was last in trouble and once again facing jail time. Seems I had no real urge to mature and grow up until I was in my 50s and back in trouble again. Man I could not believe that there I was an older guy and looking into the judges eyes once again. I know you understand I was terrified.

God has been with us and pulled us through let us be good today.

May God bless you continually,

M-Bob

God Bless!

Thank you for posting the prayer requests, Neo :)
