It's almost back! In around 2 months (give or take, depending on where you are) the planetshakers confrence will be bursting on to the scene 4 the 10th year in a row. I know there are a few people who arn't that crazy about ps but i'm not one of them. I'M EXCITED! I'm gonna be there ready 2 get in to it.

I dont think I will be able to go For many reasons. I really wish that I could though. I had so much fun last time and learnt so much. Maybe the year after.

Well yes and no. Yes there is a mosh pit, it's kinda fun to jump around in.
No i havent heard of anyone breaking their ankle at planetshakers before.

Since we're on the subject i thought i'd bring something up. I've been in there moshing along to awsome music, then when things settle down a little we go into worship. As most of you know in worship some people (myself included) raise their hands in parise to god..................did anyone catch that? I'll cover it again. Get a bunch of young people. Put them all together in an enclosed space. Get them to jump around for while til they're all sweaty. Then get them to put there arms in the air exposing everyone around them to their arm pit....
God has the best sense of humor.

Not really - I see it more as inadequate deodorant

I can't recall what I posted last year, but I have my own particular conferences that I enjoy and support to a greater degree than others, one of which is around the same time. And I get more out of conferences with a heightened sense of Bible teaching and application of what you learn, which is what I like about the conferences that I enjoy going to

Yeah - well - in our Christian group at school - we watched the conferences and we learnt so much - this was early last year

i went to the 03 and 04 ones.

i was one of the zillion adelaidians that felt somewhat betrayed when our conference packed up and moved to melbourne, and started a church, when we'd always had it based here (and got two weeks to everyone else's one) and basically waved us goodbye.

03 was good, 04 annoyed me. was SO "money money money"-ish. i hope they learned from that and tone it down a bit. hillsong doesn't even beg that much at the conferences...oh well.

Actually speaking about Hillsong, I saw the Hillsong United Live group tonight. It was good.

oh cool i saw the advertisements for that but i'm not great with huge crowds so didn't go. i liked them at hillsong though (strange that i could cope with hillsong but not normal crowds..oh well)

I went to 04. Wasn't 04 the first time they did the conferences elsewhere (ie Brissy and Perth)?

The reason they went to Perth was so that the West Aussie's didna hafta travel so far as they were one of the main interstate supporters... And I'm thinking it wont be long before they decide to go over to South Africa because from what I"m hearing there are alot that fly over from there to go to Perth for it.
