I believe that particular aircraft is Russian. It doesn't stop me from appreciating the aesthetics of the aircraft.

I believe that particular aircraft is Russian. It doesn't stop me from appreciating the aesthetics of the aircraft.

I believe that Grumman Tomcat is right about this Flanker being a Russian aircraft, as the stars on the wings are the roundels of the Russian Air Force.

I believe you're right about this Flanker being Russian; she has the Russian Air Force's star roundels on her wings.

The Raptor is my favourite stealth fighter; I love its sleek, sinister looks. My favourite fighter of all though is the Tomcat.

I'm also attracted to the retro stuff. Here's a video of a Sopwith camel flying with its original engine. Doesn't it just purr? Apparently it's supposed to run like that?

You're right, the Sopwith Camel does purr! I know very little about warbirds, so I can't tell you if that's how it's supposed to sound, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is the right sound.
