OSAS has been much debated. This thread is not for that. This thread is to develop pithy sayings for the alternatives to OSAS. After we get a valid list, we can perhaps reach a consensus on the best alternative and put it through the same scrutiny OSAS has enjoyed. Here are a few of the other possible positions. Please opine on your favorite, or develop one or more of your own.

Once saved, then lost, doomed to hell forever (OSTLDTHF)
Once saved, then lost, may be saved again, but that's the last chance (OSTLMBSABTTLC)
In and out of salvation repeatedly, must die while saved (IAOOSRMDWS)
Never saved, but lived a good life, so saved in the end (NSBLAGLSSITE)
Never Lost, Never Saved (NLNS)
Try your best, hope for the best (TYBHFTB)
If your good deeds outway your bad deeds, you're good (IYGDOYBDYG)
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (WOYOSWFAT)
If God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either (IGDNSTNBHWNSYE)
He who endures to the end shall be saved (HWETTESBS)
Having the experience of living in obedience to God's law through faith in Jesus is the content of God's gift of saving us from having the experience of not living in obedience to it (HTEOLIOTGLTFIJITCOGGOSUFHTEONLIOTI)
Leave Jesus, you die (LJYD)

Doesn't have a good ring to it, but is true nevertheless.

I’m a little disappointed in the responses from the opponents of OSAS. Given the ardent opposition that OSAS enjoys, i would have thought there would be many pithy sayings for the opposite of OSAS. Please consider posting you favorite ones.

It is VERY EASY to prove OSAS !!

There many verse that I can use and here is one in Gal 3:28 .
#1 we ARE // ESTE in Christ Jesus .

Since we are ONE in Christ Jesus , we are PART OF HIS BODY .

In 1 Cor 12:12--17 we Christ , EYES , his FOOT , his HANDS , his HEARING , his SMELLING , and we are Christ .

So then what do you do you with 1 Timothy 5:8?
And you avoided Gal 3:28 and 1 Cor 12:12 and will answer what 1 Tim 5:8 means !!

1 Tim 5:8 says that if one does not PROVIDE for his own and most of all the ones of his household , he has denied the faith faith and is worse than an believer .

One translation reads , UNBELIVER // APISTOS is in the GENITIVE CASE , in the SINGULAR, and that does not mean he has LOST SALVATION and does not say THAT , as we are all saved by GRACE , Eph 2:8 and Rom 10:9 and 10 .

Well, first off. Not other Eternal Security believers would use Galatians 3:28, and 1 Corinthians 12:12 as a good argument for OSAS. They would probably use verses like John 10:28. But if they were to read John 10:27, they would realize they are reading the Bible out of context.

Second, Galatians 3:28 is merely talking about how the true believers are all one. It’s not talking about believers who are told to depart from Jesus as mentioned in Matthew 7:22-23. Also, nothing is said that one cannot forfeit one’s salvation in Galatians 3:28, either. The words, “You can never lose your salvation” is simply not present in this verse.

1 Corinthians 12:12 talks about how there are many members but one body. This again is talking to the faithful believers and not those believers who snuck in among the faithful as mentioned in Jude 1. Also, nothing is said that members or limbs cannot be cut off. In fact, we see something like this in Romans 11.

Romans 11:22
"Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Not sure how your reasoning here makes any kind of sense on 1 Timothy 5:8. Paul is clearly talking to believers here because only a believer can be worse than an unbeliever. An unbeliever is not saved. So 1 Timothy 5:8 is teaching conditional salvation. You as a believer must provide for your own or you will be worse than unbeliever. Unbelievers are not saved and so somebody worse than an unbeliever would obviously not be saved, either.

The problem is that you are not reading and believing 1 Timothy 5:8. You are fighting against what it says because of your false belief in OSAS.

And many FALL FROM GRACE as Paul wrote in Gal 1:8 , Paul says they are ACCURSED and does that mean that they have LOST there SALVATION ?

8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. (Ga 1:8–9)

Your statements could not be further from the truth. Galatians 1:8, which is in essence repeated in Galatians 1:9, is not about people falling from grace, being accursed, and losing their salvation. It is a warning to those who believe in Christ for the salvation of their souls that the false gospel of legalism is nothing to play areound with. It so dangerous that true Christians must take every step possible to avoid entanglement in it, even to the point of letting those who preach legalism go to hell instead of trying to help them out of it.
