I bought Echoes this weekend...Yoy know, "the best of"....Im growing really attached to the band now...I just feel like I can relate to alot he is singing(see my sig).......Ive always been a big fan but now that I pay more attention to the words, I feel like they are touching me....

I think "Keep Talking", "Set the controls to the heart of the sun" ,"comfortly Numb" and "learning to fly" are my favourites.

did you hear about the lawsuit going on with them right now? i guess the kids that sang "we don't need to education" on the wall are suing because they never got paid. they went to a school in london. the band asked them to come in the studio and sing on their album. i guess the school made some money, but now that the kids have grown up, they're coming together and suing pink floyd because they never got royalties. i think they're being stupid.

i love Floyd. they're one of my fav's, though the only album i've owned thus far has been Dark Side of the Moon (which my dad kept and conviently lost when he moved to a new apartment... i was so thrilled........)

I have DSOTM, Wish You Were Here, Echoes, The Final Cut & Pulse...thinking I'll ask for more for X-mas.

Fav. songs are probably Brain Damage, Wish You Were Here & Time...the lvie stuff is a lot better than the studio stuff, IMO

You know, I dont even know how to post in this thread, because there isnt anything I can say that can properly express how much I love Floyd. I havent been listening to them as much as I used to... but they are still one of my all time favs.
My dad introduced me to them waaaaay back when I was a little girl.
I have Echo's, The wall all the gooders...

Speaking of the Wall, last christmas my dad (finally after years) bought me the DVD.... I had seen it before, but I am wondering how many of you own, or have seen it? What do you think?

I love Pink Floyd - they're my all-time favourite band. So many great songs, but I guess one of my most-loved is High Hopes. I only have one album - Pulse - and I haven't seen the DVD you mentioned, Sign.....but I've seen the Pulse video and it was really choice!!! Wonderful stuff!!!

Pink Floyd are great, one of my all-time favorites. My favorite albums of theirs are Obscured By Clouds and Meddle, but I like all their stuff from Piper through Wish You Were Here. Not that keen on the later stuff... The best Floyd movie is Pink Floyd at Pompeii!
