the lyrics are amazing and the music is beautiful. i can't express how much i enjoy their songs.
I haven't see the movie of The Wall, but i really want to

I won a framed lithograph of the Momentary Lapse cover (3'x1.5') in a raffle! It's hanging in my room!!

EDIT: I also own the Wall DVD! I love it... it's so dark, trippy, and brilliant.

I'm tempted to do something like acid or weed and then watch it.

I went to a concert done by a cover band called Several Species a few months ago, where they did the Wall in its entirety (as well as some other stuff), and it was totally mindblowing. Their performance was flawless and inspired, and it was a real treat.

You have the three best albums in my opinion , The Wall is only just beyond the top 3 though

Meh. The Wall is cool, but it's not that cool... Back in the day, I never found that drug use enhanced my enjoyment of or appreciation for that particular movie.

Saucerful of Secrets, More, Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, Obscured By Clouds, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals...what's not to love?

I never got people's love for The Wall, though. I detest that album's popularity over their earlier stuff. How many Pink Floyd "fans" have only ever listened to Dark Side and The Wall and never heard the lesser-known Obscured By Clouds, or the much under-appreciated Meddle? Those two and Dark Side were Floyd at their peak.
