Long range and CZ are both awesome, I have gone back to revolver shooting, picking up brass isn't as easy anymore!:):)

Is that a Bren? All I can say is it looks fun and/or lethal. I’d like to be in that state. Expensive is right look at all that ammo.

It is a Belgian FN MAG 58. It is classified as an M240 in the United States service. I had replaced the wooden stock and Belgian muzzle break with the US parts so it looks like the M240.
The ammo belt was around $1200.

LOL, me too; shot a PPC 480 match a couple weeks ago with my GP100; I need to get some lead round nose bullets; I have loaded a huge amount of Lead Semi-wadcutters, and they make me struggle with reloads because of the shoulder on the bullet. I timed out on two sets because of it. Shot OK otherwise.

I have just pretty much finished (are we ever really finished) building a precision .22 bench rest rifle. I started out with a basket case Brno Mod 4 built in 1953; did a complete rebuild restoring it as much as possible to original configuration. I found it. with its long barrel to be a bit cumbersome but a heck of a shooter. I put it up for sale and before too long, a guy with a nice, older 455 Super match offered me a face to face trade. I accepted. Like my Mod 4, his had some issues with the stock, and someone had taken the sighs off.

I did a trigger job, put it in an MTD Oryx Chassis, put a good quality Bipod on it, added an adjustable rear bag rider, a Riton 6-24 x 55 scope, 40 MOA rail, a straight pistol grip, A CZ 20.5" Varmint Barrel with CZ Compensator, and a Glades Armories extended tactical bolt and bolt knob. With the 40 MOA rail and the Riton Scope I was still able to sight in at our 20 yard indoor range with a bit more than 60 MOA adjustment left in the elevation turret which should help me reach out past 300 by dialing. I love the zero stop feature BTW.

Most guys at the club with similar rigs don't want to shoot past 50 yards, but I don't find 100 to be much of a challenge; my self and a couple of friends are hoping to get to Clinton range and stretch thins out to 200 and beyond this coming summer.
