Time then, is not just a component of our space, and laws, and matter, and motion. Time would be merely experienced here in our present nature and state as it now was part of it."
Real scientists don't discount the value of theories by lay scientists or the general public.
Not sure I follow? Matter is just a word that applies to phuscal stuff basically. We do not know that there is just physical stuff in the far universe. Even if there were, we do not know how an alignment in the universe of our earth and system would be affected by that stuff! For example, gravity on earth and nearby is said to be the big factor in time dilation. That gravity is determined by mass (matter). That has nothing to do with a universe being 'created old' that I can see?True. And the Creation of matter would alter time as we experience it.
Because of this effect, the cosmos could be created "old" as we would term it.
And as scripture describes.
Well he should.Einstein is turning in his grave.
False. There was a clear association with spirits! Looking at an ancient Zodiac, we do not see just farm equipment that they saw in the stars, but spirit persons and spirit related creatures etc.The only reason the ancients placed importance on the stars is because their position marked the beginnings and ends of hunting and gathering seasons, as well as functioning as a natural GPS system.
That is true also. But they did not do so following a field of barley in the sky!Only by looking at the stars could the ancients orient themselves and find their way home.
False. The alignment of ancient temples, and the meanings associated to stars show that obviously spirits were the main issue.Observing and interpreting the stars were their ticket to survival. Gods have nothing to do with this.
Right, but exactly how different depends on what changed our position in the middle of the stars! Did it tilt a little this way or the other? That is not known, is it? As you know, if we changed a satellite distance from earth, that should affect the way atoms work relative to atoms on earth etc etc (clocks). It seems reasonable to propose that if the stars affect the time, that our relative position (therefore time and laws here) is linked to the stars as an embryo is linked to a mother!FYI: the stars we observe today ARE different from the stars the ancients observed thousands of years ago. Because our solar system orbits the galaxy and so the relative position of the stars we see changes as we move through the cosmos around the center of the milky way.
Mickey mouse might not discuss things outside of Disneyland either..so?Real scientists, or at least the better known ones, have crackpot theories arriving in their email every day, about how Einstein/Newton/Faraday got it wrong.
Religion.Well, not really. The last time the Sun occupied its current position in the Milky Way, the dinosaurs were just about to put in an appearance. The mere 200,000 years we have been around is a mere drop in the ocean.
Pagans would revere their spirits and view things in that light. However, God also associated the stars with beings.A Christian lauding the merits of astrology. How interesting.
No need, they construct for what they know, and with the laws inside the bubble!Yep. Well we had Einstein to sort that out for us. No doubt scientists will let you know when they need your help in constructing a new theory.
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
This is from the Almighty God, creator of the universe, and clearly states in no uncertain terms that the stars influence earth!!!!!!!!!!!
Religion.
Mickey mouse might not discuss things outside of Disneyland either..so?
Their theories are included here. Get a grip.So scientists spend many long years becoming qualified as scientists, and will have spent many more as working scientists, so their theories aren't made up on the back of an envelope, last thing on Saturday evening, and without a clue what they are talking about..
False. He mentions actual star formations and the fact influence is involved. No possible denying it.He is saying n such thing. God is putting Job in his place, by comparing his own omnipotence, and status as creator of the universe, with Job, who can do almost nothing in comparison.
If applied beyond it's limits and scope, of course it is religion and nothing but religion.Science is not a religion.

No one is talking about special relativity not being real. The laws and spacetime of our solar system is not what we are looking at, think outside the bubble! In your nonsense you mean? Somehow I don't think so.
The maths of Special Relativity isn't too hard. Have you ever read a book on Special Relativity - or anything else apart from the Bible?
In the thread here, the limits of what we know relate to spacetime and laws of earth and the solar system. If time were star dependent then obviously spacetime in the bubble here would be affected by time! And what might its limits be? Anything you find disagreeable to your ideas?
Tell God that! 'God, you mentioned the wrong star groups, not so clever then, are you'? Ha.True. The fact that particular constellations are mentioned is pretty irrelevant.
