CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

beautiful pic, della. i find it interesting that the devil tempted jesus at at least two high places during his wilderness testings. one point thats helpful for me to remember is that if i ever think about jumping off a high place in life, angels arent going to save the day. so its best that i just wait and endure until afterwards when frank and the other angels throw a praise party.

Took a trip up into the Sierras today, fall isn't popping off like it usually does but I still saw some nice color. When it's really going off this place rivals Vermont, but we've been having an Indian summer with temps still in the 80s today, doesn't help the leaves change.

I like your snowman though... pretty fly.
I just thought this and thought of the song "pretty fly for a white guy" and realized.. it fits! Considering the snowman is white.
