Thanks Shep for sending the below in response to my inquiry which is relative to the below quote:

You criticize me for discussing two parallel verses, by different authors, describing the exact same incident, while you try vainly to make Philp 2:6 parallel Gen 1:27, without a shred of proof. Paul doesn't mention Adam, nor use the same language.

Here is the LXX on Gen 1:27. If Paul had intended a reference to Adam in Philp 2:6 he had the perfectly good word “icon” to use which he used a total of ten times, in nine verses, in his epistles, Romans 1:23, Romans 8:29, Romans 11:4, 1 Corinthians 11:7, 1 Corinthians 15:49, 2 Corinthians 3:18, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Colossians 1:15, and Colossians 3:10.

Icon/image in Greek is written eikwn/“eikon”. It is the eighth word in Gen 1:27, LXX.

Look what I found while doing some research for another unrelated argument. From the WTS publication 'Reasoning from the Scriptures' under Phil2:5,6 p.420:

The Expositor's Greek Testament says: "We cannot find any passage where [harpa'zo] or any of its derivatives [including harpagmon'] has the sense of 'holding in possession,' 'retaining'. It seems invariably to mean seize,' 'snatch violently'. Thus it is not permissible to glide from the true sense 'grasp at' into one which is totally different, 'hold fast.'"--(Grand Rapid, Mich.; 1967), by W.Robertson Nicoll, Vol.III, pp. 436,437.

The above quote has already been exposed as highly inaccurate from sources such as the TDNT, the BADG, Robertson, etc,. Not to mention the fact that they consider 'harpazo' and 'harpagmon' as perfectly interchangeable, ignoring the factor of a 'nuance'.

Just thought I'd demostrate once more where these quotes come from and the like-minded ones who use them.
