CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Or how about when someone takes up the middle of 4 spaces to prevent someone parking too neart them!!

Guys who keep hoping you'll like them even after you've told them you have no interest. Especially when they keep hanging around on the fringes of wherever you are, trying to create an opportunity for you to interact.

Especially when they call over and over and over again, and won't leave a message.
Yeah...but, we know who they are. Telemarketers or collection agents.
I wish we could block those calls. I'd like to actually block everyone who calls without a caller I.D. and who won't leave a message...so, they can't keep doing it. Because hello? I never answer my phone, unless it's someone I want to talk to.

Something that they do here in Indiana that has always irked me, is that they send out an invitation to something, with no address or time. 
And this happens a lot. The school even does it. It's very peculiar to this area. Because when I lived in California (the first 42 years of my life) they always gave an address and a time, and sometimes even directions and a phone number. It was like they actually wanted you to come!
And when you ask, "where is it? , and at what time?" They usually get a real condescending or ridiculing tone when they answer, like you're stupid or something for not knowing. ....I may be a lot of things, but I really don't have the ability to read minds. I mean, when you invite somebody somewhere, don't you tell them where and when?

Exactly!!! Some people refuse to get Caller ID. But, you don't open your front door if you don't know who it is, why should I pick up my phone?
