My DH put a new door on my FIL's bedroom (the old one was a folding door and squeaked terribly, not to mention it wasn't really private), and instead of thanking my DH, he had to critisize him and say "the door knob makes noise when I open it!"

Being expected to do the girly things like hair and makeup. (I have no gender confusion, I assure you. I'm fully female, and happy to be. I just don't understand why society instills this idea that it's such a big deal for women... and men aren't even expected to bathe regularly.)

Oh and... I thought of what I was going to write, before I read your post VG. It's just a coincidence (or psychic precognition) that we posted on similar themes.

My pet peeve is people who feel they must make comments or jokes about what other people say...but never actually have the guts to venture an original thought or opinion of their own!

oh marezee. that is BAD!!! i give my daughter in law's brother a ride home from school everyday and someone needs to introduce him to a bar of soap, a shower, and a can of deoderant. he is 16 years old and will not shower! YUCK! so i can relate-especially in my tiny little car.

you would think we didn't have showers in homes now huh? that is why i don't understand why things like lice are still an issue. so i'll run off marezee's post and up it one!

I can relate! My sisters kids do that. It irritates the heck out of me!

Here's one, somewhat related. When my kids put their table scraps in the sink but don't make it go down into the garbage disposal. (been trying to train them, but they are stubborn)
