The dry wasnt called "ground", it was called "Dry", and it was brought into "being" when God called the waters under the heavens to gather together in one place. The waters were called "seas", then, because there was one gobe of water, but different "seas/rivers/currents" in it].
It was important God spoke to only the waters under the heavens to gather together in one place, because the waters above the heavens are not gathered in one place, and are part of the system running the electric universe that God has made, which circle the earth daily, above the circle of the earth [heavens] as they have from the beginning of creation.
The "Dry" was then named "Earth".
There was no "earth" before the "Dry" was called together as one land mass, out of the waters, and named "Earth".
The "Dry" was brought forth as "dry", also, not "mud", and did not need "drying out time", but was immediately ready to bring for the vegetation all over itself, out of itself, just as the waters brought forth the fowl and sea creatures out of themselves.
