Others may "see our good works, and glorify God" (express gratitude that there are people like us) but it is God who draws people to Christ. So we "preach" by our lifestyle and deeds.

Did we ever get a definition of "persecution" and some examples of it? Outrage over nothing is, well, nothing.

Instead of recognizing the condemned guilty wicked evil people of earth who are not redeemed, saved, regenerated, or born again YET,
instead of telling them they are lost and JESUS is the ONLY WAY (<<<<<THIS is persecution says the OP , apparently)
instead of showing them the way to salvation (perhaps the OP calls this persecution?) ,

play "nice" with everybody and just tell them they are okay even if they are eternally separated from God and Jesus. (i.e. the false gospel destroying as many souls as it can, everywhere)

What? You can't read ? The contract complete with stipulations, warnings, promises, exact descriptions and covering all contingencies is available almost everywhere around the world in every nation of people for all the multitudes of people to hear or to read for themselves.....

The one and only way anyone on earth can be saved from the consequences of sin and death and self and the flesh and the devil and the world...

Yahweh is no respecter of persons - He saves for Himself people out of every nation, out of every culture, out of every people on earth
when they had no chance to be saved before Him, before He made it possible by sending His Only Begotten Son Jesus to be born a man in the midst of the evil generation of men, to live and grow up amongst His Own people whom He Created, and they rejected Him ! and HE died for them first, and for the gentiles, HE died and was raised again from the grave, never to die again, so
that everyone in every century, in every country on earth could have a chance to be brought to life, born again in Him, made alive by sheer magnificent grace !
