2 Cor 7:1 (NKJV) "Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

What is it that you have done and continue to do to obey what this verse tells us to do?

hmm good question. i guess to know the answer, we first have to figure out what it means? what do you think it means to perfect holiness? and what all do you consider filth of the flesh and spirit? also, we need to ask what is meant by the fear of God... I think that is something thats gets tricky and a lot of people don't really understand what it means...

i'll think about your question and put some prayer and thought into it before i give you any real answer though.

LOL...This might help Ga 5:24, Eph 1:4, 4:24, Heb 12:12-15, Rom 6:14-23; 8:1-13

But like you asked Quaffer, I try to pray for hours every day, try to keep the word infront of my eyes, and try to let Jesus have full control of every part of me. And just chat, talk to him all the time, he likes that.

Jesus I am so in love with you...

Death is the answer. Jesus is in control and is perfect! James 1-17 " Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of light, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow," So we are already perfect in hollliness and faith and salvation.etc, etc. I DIE DAILY, smell that dead flesh. If one takes the doctrine as peach from the pulpit your flesh is up to you to kill. Sounds like dead works and a insult to the Father, because His Son failed! I wonder why pray's don't get answer? Think about it.

I agree with you, but don't die daily. Die once and forever. The "DIE DAILY" is a miss quote of scripture. Christ died once, and you with Him, there is no more need to die again.

After death, then the judgement. Agree with God's judgement that your efforts are futile and worthless. There is nothing that we can do that would be benificial, except to die. Agree with God and accept the death that He has given. And start living out of the Heavenlies.

The deeper things are hidden in Christ, and only those who are in Christ can grab ahold of them. You must first understand what it means to be in Christ.

Additionally no person who abides in Christ will wrestles with the flesh. The cross is the answer. Not prayer or fellowship. The only real answer is for the constraints of the flesh to be removed. There must be a baptism of fire.
