  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does anyone else HATE that word? Sometimes I feel like stomping my feet and throwing a temper tantrum because I don't want to be patient any more! I don't want to be patient waiting for a new job - I don't want to be patient waiting for the right man to come into my life - I don't want to be patient waiting for my bills to get paid off - I DON'T WANT TO BE PATIENT ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, of course, I understand that I have no other choice. I pay my bills off one month at a time...I apply for each new job that comes available....and I take time to get to know each man that comes into my life and see if he is the one that the Lord has for me...

But there are days....:mad:

Anyone else ever feel this way?

Believe me I've stopped praying for patience! LOL! ^_^

It's kind of funny because I sort of feel like this little war is going on inside me...I'm happy and joyful (and I really am which is a miracle in and of itself as you know considering my current work situation :D ) and yet I'm still feeling a bit impatient and frustrated about things...it's like the two sets of emotions are at war with each other...

:eek: I just freaked myself out by reading what I just wrote - if I start hearing voices in my head I'm checking myself into the nearest hospital! LOL! ^_^

Yep, I hear ya. I feel the same way. Somedays it feels like an endless treadmill to nowhere.

Guess that's where faith comes in.
