Yes, back when the conspiracy was considered lunatic fringe - especially the simplistic details which purported that there were cameras in your TVs and devices monitoring.

I actually havent heard of this as a conspiracy per se, or in any other form to be honest. But i recently have been studying cymatics and wave particle duality, and with that in mind, this patent doesnt surprise me. Not to say im not bothered by it tho.
