The Daily Kos is not the Democratic National Convention.
Never claimed it was. But the distraction of mentioning that is noted.

I think it was only the playbook of the fringe, not the center as represented by Pelosi and most others.Doesn't it concern you that an opinion piece in that extreme leftist publication ended up being the playbook of the democrats ever since the article was written?
You are trying to come up with a conspiracy theory about how Democrats have been unfair to the president. I would argue we have been more than patient.
Oh brother.Threatened? Giving them a way of defending themselves against possible Russian aggression (something strange for an accused Russian agent to do) is threatening?![]()
Oh brother.
Even a lot of solid center Repubs think Trumps actions in this matter were flat out wrong.
No need to re litigate this here for the umpteenth time.
I think it was only the playbook of the fringe, not the center as represented by Pelosi and most others.
Its like the crazy fringe Obama-isnt-a-real-American bs playbook....... Oh wait, the de facto dead center leader of the R's actually promoted that at every opportunity.
If it was only the playbook of the fringe and not Pelosi and "most others", then why did Pelosi and nearly every democrat in the House and Senate go along with it? Were they afraid of being outsiders?
Because Trump finally did something reprehensible and abusive that demanded action.
To not do so would mean the Democratic leadership would be untrustworthy by its supporters.
Not according to those who listened to the case. Also not according to the leadership of Ukraine.
They've proven themselves to be that every time they let their hatred for Trump guide their actions.
I don't expect Zelensky to be objective on this point, after all he and his nation are victims of the abuser in the Whitehouse, yet still dependent on their aid.
Because attacking our character does so much to advance the conversation.
Poor Ukraine! Victim of Russia who wants to attack them, and victim of Trump who gives them 400 million dollars to defend themselves. Too bad they just don't realize how big of victims they are!
Exposing the character of a party isn't an attack. It's an unveiling. The conversation can start when the party can slide out from under its denial.
