SUSANNA KOH: 'THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF OUR FIGHT FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM'
The families of Pastor Raymond Koh, Joshua and Ruth Hilmy and Amri Che Mat are closer to receiving justice for their missing loved ones after the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM)released its final findings and decisions on their abductions.

Susanna Koh, wife of Pastor Raymond, said, "This is the beginning of our fight for religious freedom and human rights. We want to see the people involved be investigated and brought to justice. It is a process, it will take time."

The panel found that Pastor Koh is 'a victim of an enforced disappearance', and went on to say that 'direct and circumstantial evidence in Pastor Raymond Koh’s case proves, on a balance of probabilities, that he was abducted by State agents'. It has recommended that certain actions be taken in light of these findings, including that a special task force is set up to re-investigate the disappearance of Pastor Raymond as an enforced disappearance case.

Susanna thanked God for helping her through these last two years and expressed thanks to the Christian community for their prayers and support. Open Doors continues to stand with Susanna in her call for justice and truth.

PLEASE PRAY:
  • For Pastor Raymond, Joshua and Ruth Hilmy and Amri Che Mat, that they would be released swiftly and in good health
  • For their families as they continue their fight for justice and religious freedom
  • That the authorities would take the findings of this inquiry seriously and would take action based on the recommendations from the report.
