We are born condemned by Adam's sin.If there is no law then there is no sin and no need for grace. We are not born guilty of Adam's sin, we suffer the consequences of it...
What laws since and prior to Moses had death attached to disobedience?
What are the laws of Abraham and Noah?
< sigh >That's not what Paul said. Here are his actual words.
(CLV) Ro 5:13
for until law sin was in the world, yet sin is not being taken into account when there is no law;
And that is grievous error. The bolded words are translations of Paul's actual words. The grey words were added for sentence flow for translation into English.
Now, take Paul's words; and harmonize them with YHWH's words. As you are doing that, remember that no matter what your interpretation of what Paul said is, nor even Paul himself, trumps YHWH's word.
Better judged than dead.
The word of God in the Scriptures does not contradict itself.
We are born condemned by Adam's sin.
The result of one trespass was condemnation for all men. (Romans 5:18)
We are born condemned by Adam's sin.
The result of one trespass was condemnation for all men. (Romans 5:18)
Book, chapter and verse, please. All of them.
Falls somewhat short of supporting the statement made.I would encourage you to study this out; but it's not within the scope of this thread. This tread is about Pesach.
Book, chapter and verse, please.
And I encourage the same to you.
Well done. . .however, Romans 5:18 says "brought condemnation."The consequence of that sin was that death was brought into world...now a fallen world...and we all sin so all condemned to death. Adam, by disobeying God's law, brought death to us all...
Death is not the consequences which Romans 5:18 states.I was not in Gan Eden so I am not guilty of Adam's sin, BUT I can suffer the consequences of that sin...death, through my sins.
Only since Moses.(CLV) 1Jn 3:4
Everyone who is doing sin is doing lawlessness also, and sin is lawlessness.
So exactly what were these Abrahamic and Noahide laws against which people were sinning?
Death is not the consequences which Romans 5:18 states.
The consequences it states is condemnation; i.e., eternal punishment. . .sounds a lot like the consequences of guilt.
Really.
