If Palin's painted herself as an "average joe", it's only natural that people will have questions about spending $150K on clothes. I don't know anyone - male or female - who spends that much on clothes, except for rich politicians who pretend to be middle class average Americans in order to get elected.

Sorry campaign expenditure is a campaign expenditure. Palin didn't spend the money It was the McCain campaign staff and image consultants that thought it was necessary for them to spend the funds

Whether or not that's true (I tend to think that men are judged by how they look just as much as women), it doesn't excuse spending an inordinate amount of money for clothes.
