CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you "outrank," something, you aren't a part of it. The only way God could outrank reality, would be if God wasn't a part of reality (ie: wasn't real). Of course, unreal things can't take actions, so in that case, he actually wouldn't be able to.
If God exists, (ie: is real) then no, real things are subjected to the capricious whims of reality, in a way that unreal things are not. That's why I can daydream all I want about leprechauns mounted on unicorns battling robots riding giant flying ants, but I can't actually make it happen.
So, either God is subject to reality, or God can't act because he isn't real. In either case, it comes down to no.

God is not the author of confusion. God gives us power, love and a sound mind. Confusion comes from the enemy of God. When God allows something, He takes full responsability for what He allows. We are clearly told that God allows them to be deceived: "because they received not the love of the truth," This is freedom of choice. In Christ we are free. If people want to choose bondage then God allows them to make that choice. Life or death, sickness or health, prosperity or poverty. That is a choice that we all make. So God is just and justified in all that He does.

I didn't say "the world." I said, "reality."
Either a thing is real or it isn't. If a god is real, then he/she/it is a part of reality, and thus can't outrank it. Be in charge of it, sure. But not "outrank," which would mean being outside of it. Being outside of reality means you don't exist.
