Love is blind they say~it didn't really sink in that my wife was allergic until after the honeymoon, and then the realization of no cats was disappointing. I used to have an aquarium when I was in high school, and when I enlisted then I gave it away. So twenty plus years later with a family my oldest brings home some goldfish he "won"~that would have been the summer of 07. There were originally three but one died within a week of bringing it home. The other two seem to be growing fine but I have to get a bigger tank than the 10 gal they are in. They share it with some neon tetras, zebra danios, and cory cats~yeah, it's a tad overstocked. I do learn a lot from a couple of aquarium forums~there it seems most of my questions have been asked so I just search out the answers...
The big goldfish is Ruby and the small one is Goldie (hey I didn't name them and don't always get them right
). The three cory cats are named, but they don't stay still long enough for a picture, and the neons and danios are not named~danios aren't fitting in well, they're pretty active compared to everyone else-if they were bigger I'd make fishsticks outta them
