Ouija Boards

Ouija Boards, what do you think?

  • I am Non-Christian: I think more evil comes from them then anything else.

  • I am Non-Christian: I think they are a safe tool to use.

  • I am Non-Christian: I have never used one so I don't know what to say.

The spirit "realm" you can say is like a different dimention all around us, I know this might not be the best way to put it but I might go more into it later.

Ask God and He will show you Rev, the Bible could not have possibly been thought up by man, there are things in the Bible that were not possibly known to man.

God Bless
Can you give me a good example of something in the bible that couldn't possibly have been known to man? I mean look at the film industry, there are a lot of things I have seen there that don't seem like they could have been thought up by man.

You know, this whole internet thing is really just a giant new-fangled version of the Ouija Board: you place you hands lighty upon the "mouse" and it will move from place to place on the "screen" giving you more and more information! This evil divinatory practice should obviously be avoided by all good christians as a mark of the devil for we all know that knowledge is the loss of innocence and brought about the fall of man!

But for the rest of us they're pretty fun...

I'm a non-Christian, and I think the Ouija board is just a game, as Parker Brothers intended it to be when they put it out. It doesn't "communicate with Satan" or any of that other nonsense any more than Monopoly, Sorry, or Crazy 8s does.

Wow, this is interesting how satan has decieved so many into thinking that the ouji board is a harmless game.
I am not going to beg anyone to understand where i come from here. But I have been through, and seen much things about spirits.
There is no such thing as so called "well meaning" spirits. Your getting into the whole theology of purgitory there.
Spirits are either from God or from Satan. Now, obviously the Bible is clear that God says to have nothing to do with ANYTHING having to do with channeling, psychics, divination etc. So those spirits that have worked through the ouji board arent harmless little "lets scare you" ghosts and it isn't always your physical person who moves the pointer. They are satanic spirits leading you on, in deceptiveness to believe that they aren't really behind this so called "innocent" game. And just an fyi....spirits CANNOT tell the future. They can only tell the past. That's it. Only God knows the future.
For whoever is reading this......please don't get mad or defensive. I am telling you guys this out of concern for you. I don't want the enemy to get the best of you all and decieve you into thinking spirits from hell are innocent.

Gee so have I, and my experiences and the conclusions I draw from them seem to be markedly different than yours. So much for absolutes.

Your concern is appreciated, but misplaced. As Mark Twain once said "people should be hung for good intentions". I don't agree with him insofar as hanging you, as such ;-) but his comment is apropo. Just because you believe in a black and white Universe doesn not mean the rest of us have to. Your beliefs arte your beliefs, no matter how much you insist they are absolute truth. Your (the metaphorical your) concern, no matter how sincere, often results in prejudice and persecution of others who believe differently. One can hardly blame us for getting at least a little defensive when people with no better leg to stand on tell us we've been decieved by their Satan.

An example of the spiritual or an example that the Bible is the Word of God?

Please can you give us a good example of something in the bible that could not have possibly have been known to man, an example that shows that this could not possibly be from any source other than God.

This is in response to you claim below

"there are things in the Bible that were not possibly known to man."

Look at the last chapters of the Book of Job from chapter 38. The detail of such information could not have been possibly known to man. And others have same implication.

In regards to other accounts in the NT, how could a human being peer that way into the future and speak 2000 years ago about things that are happening now.

That isn't good enough. I looked and I don't see anything in there that couldn't have been thought up by a creative writer. And if you want to talk about people knowing the future, check out a book about Nostradamus. I actually used to have a copy that explains the events on Sept. 11th very well. When I looked to see when the book was published I saw the year 1976. He was known for using divination to make his predictions. So the only thing I can see you saying to argue this would be that god or the holy spirit sent him these visions, but of course the method he used would be through satan, and it was stated earlier that ONLY god knows the future. Explaination?

They didn't. It does not take a prophet to predict that there will be war in the Middle East sometime in the future. That's like predicting snow in Minnesota.
