The sprit world is not limited to Heaven and Hell (in fact, many religions do not believe either of those places to be in existance at all one must note)

The Celts had about 7 spirit realms. Summerland, Tir Na 'Og and so forth.

Some believe that our world emcompasses the spirit world within, others think that the spirit world encompasses the physical world.

There are many theories and beliefs about the spirit world. Ask a person and you'll get one answer, ask a second person and you could get another.

Yes Isaiah, however I think you are missing the point that Havoc (and a couple others are tyring to point out). Just because it is in the bible doesn't mean that it is fact. It was written and translated like someone much like yourself. If someone asks the question "How do you know?" and you answer because it's in the bible or because someone else told me so. Then my question is "How do they know?" And Alessandro, if those are your personally feelings then I respect them on every level. So please don't be offended when I question you, I just want to make you think, because then you reply back and it makes me consider what I am saying. (Just a philosophical cycle I enjoy.)

Just a suggestion, try it with a completely (key word completely) open mind and with more then just one person. Always considered it to give better results. Unless your doing but just trying to disprove the idea of Ouija Boards in which a little more evidence is going to be needed. But if your really curious then, good luck.

Rev~ I have been through this many times with Havoc, he knows where I stand and I know where he stands. We have, I hope, reached an mutual agreement to disagree.

Oh, and for the record; the Bible was not written my someone like me. It was written by the Holy Spirit through someone like me. And to me the Bible is the undeniable 100% truth; so if the Bible says so~that final.

I was wondering, what is the general belief around here about Ouija or Spirit Boards. Now this post is not ment for the Christian ready to pull verses out of the bible. I want to hear from Non-Christians, or Christians who may not agree with most others in their religion.

So what do you think, are they the source of all evil or a good divination tool to work with. I know what I think and will be posting it a bit later. But what is the Non-Christian view of it around here?

My grandmother and her friends used Ouija boards fairly often. We always considered it an honor when one of us children were invited to the parlour to join them.
She was more than a little psychic and didn't really need the Oiuja board. It was a fun excuse to get together with friends and relax..(Hey, a lot more exciting than a quilting bee or sewing circle)

The spirit "realm" you can say is like a different dimention all around us, I know this might not be the best way to put it but I might go more into it later.

Ask God and He will show you Rev, the Bible could not have possibly been thought up by man, there are things in the Bible that were not possibly known to man.

Making it up? How 'bout fulfilled prophecy? How 'bout many different authors over thousands of years all with the same message?

Why would someone use a divination tool when God expressly forbid such practices?

What fulfilled prophecy? I've never seen any verifiable fulfilled prophecy in the Bible. Common message only means the authors believed tha same things, hardly surprising.

Why would I care if you believe your God forbids you to use Divination? Has nothing to do with me.
