I have to say, coming from a background of being into many things, including reading tarot cards (whether it is for "fun" or not) it is not from God (JESUS)!!! I can guarantee that!!! If it's not from God then who or whom is it from? there is only "good" or "bad"---no in between!!! The best analogy i can think of right off hand is being pregnant! Either you are or you're not!!!
I know that this is Old testament but The Lord does not change..."There shall not be found among you anyone who...practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spell, or a medium, or a spiritist or one who calls up the dead. For all these things are an abomination to The LORD (they make him want to vomit)" Deuteronomy 18:10-12 Why do those things make Him sick to His stomach----because people don't trust Him! He spoke the truth to Eve (in the garden) about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but the bad guy got in there and lied to her. She didn't pay enough attention to God's word. She misquoted God, she lessened His generosity, didn't pick up on His accuracy, added to what He said and didn't believe God. She took the bait, wanting to be like God (all-knowing, wise, self reliant, she followed her desires). Just from that story it is easy to see that reading The Bible yourself and being accurately learned is beyond important!!! People can sound like they really know stuff but they don't have a clue! There are so many people out there who seem like good people or that call themselves Christians and they aren't & they're easy to pick out when you know your Bible!!! If your Bible is too difficult to understand check other translations out like the NKJV or the NASB. Don't take other people's word for it! Check out the verse that was typed in here! The bad guy's got the wool pulled over the eyes of those who just believe whatever people tell them....

Maybe someone else already set the record straight. I'm not sure, but if not---i'm going to!!! Jesus loves you and everyone who was, is and will be!!! IGNORANCE IS SATAN'S ALLY!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, i wished that i could scream that and underline it a billion times!!! Ignorance is how he (satan) deceives people and tricks them into hell!!! he hates me, you and everyone on the planet and only wants to destroy us----read your Bible and learn the truth!!!

Through my studies and experiences, the people who generally use Ouija boards to summon or communicate with beings are usually not psychically developed.
They try to use a device like this to compensate for their lack of skill.
The chances of a person actually contacting something are very slim, but, the kinds of beings that respond to Ouija summoners are often mischievous, misleading, energy stealing astral beings.
These beings will often try to get people to return, to summon them again.
An addiction develops when the person thinks that they have made contact with a being.
Ouija, in this case can be very addictive, the abuser using it for extended periods of time.
The trouble is, that the being or beings summoned, are either a manifestation of the summoner's thoughts and desires, or it is some lower bottom feeder type of astral creature looking for a quick and easy lunch (energy in the form of fear or emotion).
The person using the Ouija, who is not trained in the use of the subconscious, does not understand the process of why and how it works.
Also, a person using a Ouija board to summon is very inexperienced with psychic technique and is likely to be taken advantage of, either by his own mind or by some creature.
Its a wonderful opportunity when some dumb kid goes and summons their energy; and then ACTS on what the spirits tell him or her to do.
That is how the relationship is fed and maintained; the being in the astral gets the person using the Ouija to act on their behalf, in the physical world.

I have a friend who does witchcraft, she is a christian and a strong believer, yet she claims when she uses the Ouija Board and Tarot Cards she puts the faith into God to answer her questions. Should i just tell her that the Ouija board was created to communicate with spirits & demons. And that if she thinks that God is replying its really Satan in disguise?? Maybe show her a story or 2.. lol

I doubt if she will believe you. But it is worth a try. Do not seek the council of the dead, seek council of the LIVING GOD!WOW.. This forum helps alot.

It doesn't matter if you scribble 'tutu' on a piece of paper. If you use that to willingly open yourself to 'spirits', you're asking for trouble.

Having used both ouija boards and tarot cards prior to being saved I will testify they certainly opened a doorway in my life and as a result I sought God because of the fear that came into my life. I burned all occult paraphenalia after I got saved.
Sure for some they don't work, but like any other spiritual thing a degree of faith is required to open the spiritaul gateway. If you pray with no faith as a christian nothing happens and likewise the same is true of the occult without faith the manifestations don't follow. This is why many are foled into believing it is a harmless bit of fun and why scientifically it is difficult to recreate.
The bible warns us against participation in witchcraft and if your friend beleives as a christian it is Ok to dabble with darkness she has been blinded to the truth. Tell her to read her bible, she cannot choose which bits to accept and which to ignore. Ignore God's advice at your peril. There is a way that seems right to man but in the end it leads to death (Proverbs)
I pray that she has her eyes opened as I did and repents of using such things.

Prior to my birth, my family messed with a ouija board. Although the thing itself does not have any power, as Blake said, opening yourself up CAN call upon something. Why some people get nothing and others do, I have no clue. Perhaps it's about them believing it'll happen.
Btw, one of the things predicted through that was my birth. Yeah, that's always made me feel good.

One should only speak according to what one knows. Just because you can't percieve something...doesn't mean it's not there. Go buy a Ouija board and gain some experience to draw from.

I have had a ouiji board. They can open you to great evil. Get rid of it, it is not a game.! Pray. The word of God tells us not to use witchcraft, call on the dead etc.
God is Alive. He is a Living God~
Get rid of things that open you to evil~
