I was thinking the other day "What if?" What if Adam would have repented or sought mercy and forgiveness instead of hiding his sin? What would have happened?
Today, we like to change sin into something acceptable giving it a new name "alternative" rather than accept it's wrong. I'm tempted to justify sin every time I fail. But that's what really gets us into the darkness, isn't it?
It's so important we openly confess our shortcomings to the Lord. Not hiding them under the guise of rationale.
What might have happened had Adam fallen down on his knees and begged God's mercy?
