I do miss you all, terribly.

There are a few reasons for my absence:

Some of you may know that I had a viral infection in my eyes that wouldn't quit. It was a severe trauma to both eyes. This triggered the onset of cataracts. I recently had surgeries on both and my eyes are recuperating.

There are other reasons as well. I do hope to visit OBOB once in a while but I don't think I will visit often. I do love you all but OBOB just isn't what it used to be. We spent years creating OBOB as an independent and truly Catholic place and then suddenly, in a flash, it was gone. Does CPR still exist? I guess not.

You and many of the others served here diligently. You are correct, it's not the same...but with prayer....I believe in spiritual CPR....even for a messageboard.

I will continue in prayer for your healing and I do hope for more opportunities to see you around here. You are a true blessing!!

I have a serious aol problem. That's why emails aren't getting thru. I am just starting to resolve my computer problems. The stitches in my eyes are still in the process of disolving and I still can't see very well.

I have missed you soooo much. You are right, the OBOB has gone through so much and it may not be what it once was, but maybe, with you and Bob and Davidnic and Maggie and some others here... maybe we can rebuild the OBOB to make it even stronger.

My heart weeps with great joy to read your words here and thank you for being here.
