Not yet. I'm giving my talk to the lab in about an hour. If I botch it, then I'll worry. But I've got the gift of gab (usually, so I'm not too concerned). It's a small talk, this symposium is covering a lot of topics in a single day, so we only have ~20 minutes to present our data ... it's hard to go wrong with a 20 minute talk.

I usually tend to just slow things down, consider my words carefully before uttering them, and make lots of eye contact. It keeps the audience engaged (prevents them from sleeping). I don't know my audience, so I'll probably leave out any jokes for this one.

To be honest, I'm meeting my gf's mother for the first time this weekend. That scares me more than the CDC honchos.
