The forums quite busy this morning. I thought I'd raise this point in here. Quite often I can't reach CF because of database being down and sometimes like this morning, everything works really slow. I'm wondering if anyone else experiences that.

oh yes definately, and usually on the days I have endess amounts of time to be here too...bummer

I have 3 kids(offspring)
and they are all really talented...

My oldest is almost 20 and he is in a band(Christian, but not my favorite music style -Hard Core? still the kids love it!), and he plays lead guitar and writes the music... He is sooooooo cute (but doesnt like me to say that )

Our middle son is almost 12 and he's an awesome gymnast, if he keeps it up he will have a chance at the olympics someday. For the last 2 years he's placed in the top ten in the California state championships...(5th place 2 years ago, then tied for 6th last year)

My baby well shes 10 but she's my baby when she cant hear me say that she is a cheerleader for Pop- Warner Football...

so now when I talk about my kids you'll have some background

I miss those ages, hmmmm six would that be kindergarten or 1st grade?
We will be out of the grade school season after this year...it's kinda sad to think no more wee ones till I have grand kids...My middle son is adopted and he has a half brother who we get to babysit, he is sooo cute, only 3, and full of life and wonder, we enjoy him soooo much

In her writings, Ellen White referred to the Adventists as the "Little Flock". I believe other early Adventists used that term a few times as well, though I'm not sure.

Actually, we're waiting until next fall to put him in school, when he will be seven (the compulsory school age where we live). Then he will go to first grade at a Christian school. We're skipping kindergarten. We decided to keep our kids at home as long as possible. I'm teaching him some things at home this year but not officially home schooling.

I'm a homeschool mom, my kids have done it all, private, public and home...right now I have one in public (DD) and my son home...He is in 6th grade/Middle School and I pulled him out because I cant stand CA JR High Schools( ) I wish we could afford Private School again but this works well too

Yes it is an alto sax. An E flat alto sax to be exact. The band has pretty much whatever instruments are avaliable. Here are all the current instruments. So it's not just fixed to jazz.

Baritone Sax
Tenor Sax
Alto Sax (ME)
Flute
Clarinets
Bass guitar
Drums

Unfortunately alot of those instruments may not be there next year because year 12's play them, and they're leaving soon.
