We had homeade apple crisp cooked with apples picked from the North Carolina mountains at Bible study. Then we topped it off with ice cold homeade vanilla, cherry, or chocolate ice cream. I figured that I would bring some here too.

Apple crisp YUM YUM!!! It is one of our favorites! My daughter (age 13) makes it sometimes when I don't have the time. She even made it for last Thanksgiving--she and her brother don't like pie.

When I was in college and attended a church potluck, I actually got away with bringing a nicely-arranged plate of uncooked pop-tarts . . . taken out of the bags of course . . .
