Hi there all! This is Jennifer-- its been a while since I've been here. I've brought along an entire Thanksgiving dinner-- with all the trimmings to show my thanks (just a tad bit early). I'm in Central Florida and have a LOT to be thankful for having weathered the storms that have been tossed our way.

I'm here to catch up on the faith I've been growing as a rather newbie to the Church of the Nazarene and I must say that I really feel like I've found an prganized belief that is in line with what I've always believed-- although I was raised as a Catholic.

Any cocoa left?

Ok, Ill post...my name ia Anna, but most of my friends call me Kathy (I use my middle name a lot) I was raised Methodist in NE Ohio, but left the church in 97 b/c of some persoanl issues with another member. I have just recently rejoined the church, and attend a small (78 members attending last Sunday) UMC near my home. I think all but 6 of the congregation are over the age of 60, so being 24 I feel slightly out of the loop at times, even thought the pastor is close to me in age as is his wife. I"d like to talk to some other women close to myself in age, whose kids are close to my daughters ages. I feel that I was led to start attending my church, but where I am to go here, I'm not clear.

i'm just here for the food. a wonderful lady in my church always makes the 'green stuff' for every church supper. it's some kind of pudding, nuts, marshmellows and good. and of course it is green. oh and pineapple too.

Just taking a break from my hooks. In the last 16 hours I've made a hat and scarf set and a rosary. I have a pouch for the rosary about half done. (It is a gift for a Catholic friend of mine). Looks like I just might get all the Christmas gifts done on time this year!


Hmmmm...looks like it is time to refill the cookie jar.
