I think our stay has been long enough. Jack will remain in the prison. I just tried to prolong the "regrouping" as long as possible, at least within reason. I think we'll have them leave in the morning.

What were you planning about Marcus and Asha??

Are you planning on staying in 'the consi', or will you temporarily abandon 'the consi' and move to 'the city of Ember' while you are in Ember?

That is an exelent question....

OK. I have it. We shall 'abbandon' the Consi thread temporarily to post our misadventure to Ember. Once clear of the city, we shall resume posting in the Consi thread. The Ember adventure may last for a month IRT...so I'll periodially post in there so it will not dissappear, as threads do if no posts are made after a certain amount of time.

We may, however, find some sort of other means to keep the Consi active. Perhaps the group will split off to go warn the elves. Maybe even the Elven side of the war could be conducted in the Consi thread!!! That would make more sense and keep post numbers to a minium.

Characters, esspecially during the war, will alternate between threads. This makes more sense. I shall repost this in the Ember thread and I wish everyone to post their thoughts on this.

Dont expect Manfred to help any dirty stinkin elves(that he doesnt know personally) Otherwise, sounds good. And does that mean that the invaders would post in the consi when they are in elvish territory? Or do you menaj ust what the people on the side of the elves are in the Consi?

Anything happening INSIDE Ember...The City of Ember Thread.

I know that sounds silly, what with the invasion and all. But I think it'll work better this way. Xhile and a few other messangers will be the only link between the two and so the characters in the Ember thread will only know (as they would anyways) what the messengers say and vise versa.

I dunno. Marcus needs to wake up and smell the girl power. He's dashing, gallant, handsome and all that, but he keeps wanting to save a damsel in distress. Asha is hardly a damsel and she handles distress just fine on her own, with a little help from her friends.

I think he's staying with his family for now. Too bad we never played out how Bianca blew Asha's secret. Funny thing is that everyone knows about her nobility now and she hasn't a clue! Maybe we can bring that up later. Boy, the tables sure got turned on her!

Marcus might show up in Ember, though. His family is mostly of human heritage, but there's some kind of elven relationship somewhere. Being a knight the king might just send him as part of the elven army. Anything can happen.

I would like for Asha to have a romance, but it's just too strange to role play that myself. Who wants to rp love with two of their own chars?!? Weirdsville! Marcus was taking a shine to Bat though...

Hey Mega, do great minds think alike or what? I was wondering exactly how the Consi thread was going to proceed now that the party is going to Ember, and now we know.

LOL....I think the Sathria/Manfred is enough romance for me. But if Marcus wants to, he can interrigate Bat during her inebreated state about the real mission to Ember and who everyone really is... Just a thought.

And I hope my plan is satifactory for everyone. I could take over Marcus for you, but that would sooo weird, what with me being a girl and all. Maybe Mega could...he's rather good at writing that sort of guy . No offense Mega .

I already posted this in the Ember OOC, but just to make sure everybody knows. No one will play Marcus except me, if he gets played at all. I've grown fond of the big lug. And what are you talking about weird? I'm a girl and I was rp'g romance, but that was between two of my own chars. Anyway, how do you know you're NOT rp'g with another gal. I'm sure Paladin Dave and Mega are guys, but really. How often do we really know who we're rp'g with? Anyway isn't the whole idea of role playing to be someone you are not? Why is it wierd to be a girl rp'g a man attracted to a female char who happens to be played by a girl? To me it would be wierd if someone wanted to rp a man attracted to another man. Uuuggghhh. Let's drop the subject.

Though you are right. I guess when I am posting romantic scenes, I imagion that the guy is my perfect man and I'm his perfect girl. I don't know why, but it has a Snow White or a Sleeping Beauty quality. Even though those stories were pounded into us sense birth, they can still touch a bit of something in our hearts that say, "Wow...that was a great story..."

I've NEVER had nightmares because of some stupid movie....in fact, I don't think I've ever woken up in the night because I was scared. I've never had reason to fear the night....

Are you sure you were reading the unedited, fully violent and grotesque versions? If you were I wonder that you can call that stuff "not so bad." And, Mega, you might be frightened if you were a 19th century child whose parents read you these stories and told you that you had to be good all the time or the boogey man was coming to get you. I knew someone who was told these stories when they were young and they said it freaked them out plenty.
